Smolsky and Alimbekova win sprint in Biathlon Cup in Belarus

The Biathlon Cup of Belarus has started in Raubichi, BelTA informs.

Today, Dinara Alimbekova, the champion of Olympic Games 2018, has won a confident victory in the women's sprint for 7.5 km with two shooting ranges: 33.2 seconds with perfect shooting. Irina Kruchinkina got the silver medal (22 min. 40.3 sec.; 3 misses), the bronze went to Natalia Karnitskaya (23 min. 08.5 sec.; 2).

In the men's 10 km sprint the best result was recorded by Anton Smolsky, the silver medalist of OG 2022: 21.6 seconds. Ivan Tulatin was 21.6 seconds behind the winner, having missed only once on two shooting ranges. Dmitry Lazovsky took the bronze medal (+27.0 sec; 1).
