Lukashenko meets with the president of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received President of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko, BelTA informs.

According to the head of the state, he is well aware of the state of sport in Belarus. That is why the main topic of the conversation was the situation with the Belarusian sport on the international scene, including the issues of the forthcoming Olympics in 2024. Both government agencies and public organizations are actively involved in this area. The President was keen to learn about cooperation with the National Olympic Committee.

They also discussed the preparation and staging of the second CIS Games which Minsk will be hosting this August. Earlier the President of Belarus stressed that these international competitions will be a serious test for the entire sport industry of the country.
