27 medal events will be held on 10th day of Olympics in Tokyo

The Olympic Games have crossed the equator! On the 10th day of the competitions, 27 medal events in 12 sports will be held. Early in the morning in Tokyo track-and-field athlete Alena Dubitska fought for the podium. In the shot put with the result of 18 meters and 73 centimeters she took the ninth place. The gold medal was won by Chinese athlete Gong Lijiao. Unfortunately the final in the hammer throw will be held without the Belarusian athletes. Anna Malyvshchik and Anastasiya Maslova could not make it through the qualification. Anastasiya Mironchik-Ivanova in the long jump was not selected among the top twelve in her discipline.

Meanwhile, the Belarusians will still be in a competition for two sets of medals today. In the evening program (in Belarus it will be 13:10), we closely follow Maksim Nedosekov in the high jump event. The silver medalist of the Games in Rio weightlifter Darya Naumova will try to confirm her high status in Tokyo as well.
