Belarus Paralympic Athletics Championship to start in Minsk

The Belarusian athletics championship within the framework of the tournament "We're together. Sports" tournament among the disabled with visual and motor skills started today. The Belarusians will compete with the Russian athletes, many of whom are the world leaders in their disciplines. About 150 athletes will compete for awards in the tournament.

The competition will last two days. Yesterday, there was an opening ceremony of the championship at the central entrance to the Victory Park; the participants and guests laid flowers to the memorial plate in memory of the heroes who died during the Great Patriotic War.
