European Swimming Championships starts in Hungary

Four Belarusians have made it through to the semifinals at the European Swimming Championships in Budapest. Ilya Shymanovich finished second in the qualifying round and will compete for the final in the 100 meters breaststroke. Adam Peaty was the best in the morning session, beating the Belarusian by two tenths of a second. Anastasiya Shkurday was the fifth to qualify for the butterfly 100m semi-final. Nikita Tsmyg and Viktor Staselovich made it to the semifinals in the 50-meter backstroke. The semifinals will be broadcasted live by Belarus 5 in the evening session today. The broadcast will start at 19:00.
