27th International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk closes with grand gala

By Olga Maslovskaya: The Summer Amphitheatre hosted the grand gala that officially closed the 27th International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. The festival’s old friends took the stage. Among them were Tamara Gverdtsitelli, Alexander Buynov, Gleb Matveichuk, Marina Devyatova, Vika Tsyganova, and Max Barskikh.

Also, the winners of the Pop Song Performers Contest were awarded. Following the decision of the international jury, the third prize was divided between two contestants – Silvia from Poland and Belarus’ Evgeny Kurchich. The first prize of the contest went to Amre from Kazakhstan and Marcel Rosca from Romania received the Grand Prix.

The show lasted over three hours. There were new songs and well-known hits that the audience sang along with their favorite artists.

This is not the end of the festival, though. The Summer Amphitheatre is yet to host the solo concert of Elena Vaenga and the show of the band Mumiy Troll tomorrow.
