Women's rhythmic gymnastics team returns from World Championships
The Belarusian women's rhythmic gymnastics team returned to their homeland after a triumphant performance at the World Championships. Our representatives were solemnly welcomed at the National Airport Minsk. They received 7 awards and the third place in the medal standings! 20-year-old Alina Harnasko became the world champion in the exercise with the ribbon, took silver in the competition with the hoop and the performance with the ball brought her bronze in Japanese Kitakyushu. She became the second in the most prestigious discipline - the Olympic all-around, having improved her indicator of the Olympic Games, where Alina was on the third step of the podium. Before the planetary forum, the leader of our national team had a coronavirus and did not know if she could perform at the competitions up to the end.
Alina Harnasko returned with four medals from Japan. 19-year-old Anastasia Salos got bronze in the individual twirler exercises. The Belarusians became third in the team all-around and group exercises.
