U.S. high school students fail math exam en masse

This year the results of tests became the worst since 1900, writes WSJ.

The average math score dropped to 271 out of a possible 500. What's more, students still had trouble with reading. The average score for this subject is 256. This is the lowest achievement level since 2004.

According to the newspaper, the problems of education in America have been exacerbated by the pandemic and the shortage of teachers.

But the number of transgender and non-binary people has increased dramatically.
