Americans get addicted to heavy drinking

With the arrival of COVID-19, people in the United States began to drink more. The pandemic is over, but the habit remains. For example, November's inflation and seasonal spending on alcoholic beverages was 3 percent higher than a year earlier and 15 percent higher than before the pandemic. Apparently, the habits are promoted by closed drinking establishments.
