Europe scared: Trump and Vance could change America's course

Trump and Vance will weaken ties with Europe, writes Asia Times. They are focused on confronting China. The long-term strategic goal is to win Russia over to the US side. But weakening transatlantic ties could strengthen the Russia-China alliance, the authors of the article believe.

As for Ukraine, there is no place for it in such an arrangement. If the U.S. turns toward China, the financing of Kiev will completely fall on the shoulders of Europe. And Europe alone will not help Ukraine to stop the "ruthless onslaught" of the Russians.
