Lithuanian business wants to continue trading with Russian grain

Official Vilnius is strongly against the agricultural products from the Russian Federation, and Deputy Agriculture Minister Vytenis Tomkus said that importers of Russian agricultural products behave "immorally".

However, Arunas Vasiliauskas, head of the Dognus agricultural company, strongly disagrees with him.

He is convinced that local entrepreneurs have the right to trade in Russian agricultural products that are not subject to sanctions. "Because there is demand. If there was no demand, we would not work. I don't kill and I don't steal. This is also a moral thing. I earn for Lithuania as well, I pay taxes here. Russia will earn, if not through me, then through someone else. Only Lithuania will not receive any income," Vasiliauskas said.
