Lithuania forbids its citizens crossing Belarus border
The Lithuanian businessmen are shocked by the fact that their own customs officers do not allow them to cross the Belarusian-Lithuanian border for twenty-four hours.
They argue that the Lithuanian government is to blame for this, because Lithuanians face unprecedented inflation and start to put obstacles in the way of Lithuanians when traveling to Belarus "for shopping".
Ordinary Lithuanians started having problems after the introduction of visa-free regime in Belarus. Lithuanian authorities don't want their citizens to know the truth about our country, so they threaten and hinder their citizens. It's becoming increasingly difficult for citizens of Belarus to return from Belarus to Lithuania.
