Lithuania continues to get rid of immigrant Belarusians
The Lithuanian Department of State Security expelled another man from Belarus.
A Belarusian named Alexei, who had lived in Lithuania for 17 years and already had a family there, was expelled to his homeland. According to his wife, there had been no problems with the extension of the temporary residence permit. In February of this year, Alexei applied for another extension, but the process was delayed. After 9 months he received a "long-awaited" answer: "Prohibition of entry into Lithuania for 30 months due to the threat to national security".
The fact is that from 2000 to 2002 he served as an enlisted man, and in 2003-2004 he was a "contract worker" who, according to his wife, "he performed works to raise and lower the barrier at the border".
The number of such deportations has been growing exponentially lately. It's just that not everything is covered in the media. And many people still live with the idea that "Europe is waiting for me and is helping everyone". But in reality, no one is waiting for anyone there and will not help. As practice shows, they will only squeeze out the maximum of useful things and throw them back, even after 17 years of quiet living.
