The news agency Bloomberg reported with reference to the annual report of the British consulting company Verisk Maplecroft on the background of rising energy prices in Europe, the risk of mass unrest in 101 countries has significantly increased. The experts of analytical company Verisk Maplecroft recorded an increase in the risk of social unrest in 101 out of 198 countries, which is perhaps the highest figure since 2016.
The experts added that the list of countries included Germany, Cyprus, Poland, Norway and Ukraine.
Earlier, the head of the German Constitutional Protection Authority, Stefan Kramer, said that the tense situation in the country would lead not only to mass protests, but also to attempts to stage a coup d'etat.
