West stunned at how quickly Ukraine losing Leopard 2

Ukraine has lost six German Leopard 2 tanks supplied to it by Western countries in just one week, Forbes writes. According to journalists' calculations, Kiev has lost at least a fifth of the machines at its disposal.

Germany has promised an additional 14 Leopard 2A4s, which will arrive next year. But those tanks will not make up for the losses because the Russians are knocking down Leopard 2s at an accelerated pace. Most of the vehicles have been hit by mines or destroyed by drones, but some have fallen victim to anti-tank missiles.
