"Stop the lies!" Western journalists suddenly turn their backs on Ukraine
America cannot find money for Ukraine. Inside the Kiev junta, the conflict between Pan Zelensky and Zaluzhny is getting sharper, writes InoSMI columnist Anton Trofimov.
Visits to Kiev by Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron look like a pat on the shoulder for a boxer who is clearly losing the fight. On top of all the woes, the consistent support of Western journalists, who looked at what was going on exclusively through the eyes of the inhabitants of the office of Zelensky, is being replaced by open criticism.
It is clear that it will be a very long time before the Western media start taking a pro-Russian stance. And there is no need for them to do so. It would be enough if European and American journalists simply remembered their former traditions of objectivity! The real picture of the consequences of the West's intervention in the conflict in Ukraine will convince readers and viewers in a way that no pro- or counter-propaganda can convince.
