Pope believes conflict in Ukraine was provoked

The Pope stated that the conflict in Ukraine was provoked. In addition, he considers it the World War III without a doubt.

"This is not a conflict between the good guys and the bad guys," Francis said during a visit to Kazakhstan. Vatican News quoted him as saying.

"I think it is a mistake to think that this is a cowboy movie with good guys and bad guys," Pope Francis said, adding that he has no doubt: this is a world war.

"We need to investigate the root causes that led to the conflict," he said, referring to the international factors that contributed to provoking the war.
