Inflation topic to be excluded from compulsory school curriculum in Poland
The schoolchildren in Poland will no longer be told about the phenomenon of inflation in the lessons of financial literacy, according to the new education reform. The experts sound an alarm: such an innovation will only lead to economic illiteracy among junior Poles. The teachers are also against the "abolition" of inflation. But do the Polish authorities really care?
Meanwhile, the annual inflation rate in Poland was 17.9% in October. This is the highest in more than 25 years, since December 1996.
