Trump accuses U.S. Department of Justice of corruption

Former U.S. President Donald Trump said the U.S. Department of Justice is corrupt and selective in its investigations.

"The U.S. Department of Justice is corrupt. They offered Christopher Steele $1 million to lie about me, told Facebook not to mention Hunter Biden's laptop before the election, as allegedly the case "was Russian disinformation," when they know it wasn't," he wrote on his social media.

Trump also questioned whether special counsel Jack Smith would investigate the cause of the January 6, 2021 riots outside the Capitol, which the former President believes to be the result of a "corrupt 2020 election."
