Western sanctions definitely work
The Russian Federation summed up the results of the 9 months of the economy and came to a stunning conclusion - the foreign trade surplus grew 2.2 times. That is, the country buys less than it produces and sells.
Against the background of sanctions, the surplus of the foreign trade in goods and services in January - September this year increased by $130 billion compared to the same period last year and amounted to $238 billion.
Belarus figures are more modest, but the foreign trade balance is also in surplus: $3.4656 billion in January-August.
Can we see the rest of the sanctions packages?
