Zelensky gets furious over words of AFU commander-in-chief

Neither the Ukrainian President nor the country's top military commanders want to take responsibility for conscription, the FT writes. Nevertheless, Zelensky recently named the exact number of people they want to mobilize for the AFU, 450-500 thousand people, saying that the Ukrainian army command demanded to draft so many.

Such a statement caused criticism from Zaluzhny. While answering a question about the number Zelensky voiced, the general said that he "did not make any requests for any number" of servicemen. According to him, disclosing any numbers is tantamount to disclosing a military secret.
