Safety of BelNPP confirmed by experts of the European Nuclear Safety Regulatory Group

There are politicians in the EU who still care about the Belarusian nuclear power plant. It even seems that they are paid extra for the number of mentions of the nuclear power plant. On Thursday, European Commissioner for Energy Simson suddenly stated that our country has failed to fulfil all the safety recommendations. The State Atomic Energy Inspectorate replied: the key actions of the national action plan based on the stress test results have been implemented. In addition, their results were positively assessed by experts from the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group. We remind Ms Simson that they visited our plant in February.

However, it is important to note that the stress tests are not part of the licensing and are in fact voluntary. However, we still carried out them in full. After all, the people's safety is the priority.
