China and Egypt Launch Joint Air Drises “Eagles of Civilization – 2026”

China and Egypt are conducting the joint aviation exercises “Eagles of Civilization – 2026.”

The Chinese Air Force continues to expand the geography of its combat training. Forces of the People’s Liberation Army of China and Egypt are holding joint air exercises under this name.

Service members will practice air-combat tactics, the achievement of air superiority, search-and-rescue operations, and the employment of aviation units in various scenarios. The maneuvers will continue until the beginning of September.

For China, Egypt represents an important strategic direction — a hub linking the Middle East, Africa, and the Mediterranean.
