Cuba is on the brink of a fuel catastrophe due to the US. Amid the energy crisis, aircraft fuel supplies will run out within the next 24 hours.
Havana International Airport has already announced that the terminal has run out of Jet A-1 fuel, which is typically used in commercial aircraft, and will not be available for at least a month.
Earlier, the US cut off oil supplies to Cuba from Venezuela and Mexico, effectively putting Cubans on starvation rations, as Havana has no other sources.
According to local media, the US has imposed a near-total blockade of the island, detaining all tankers.
