Where do refugees really go – is it European paradise or hell?

"Welcome to Germany!" That's the kind of video they spin on the Internet. And how do Syrians, Libyans, Kurds, refugees from Iraq and millions of others, whose countries have been ruined, feel when they come across such ads? After a pandemic that further crippled the economy, refugee flows to the West have increased again, including through Belarus.

“European leaders, please, we are in a terrible situation here. If you can help us, please help. If not for me, then for my seven children who are here. They are in a very bad situation. Please. Poland won't let people cross the border to the other side. France, Belgium, Great Britain - any place, any country. They won't let us cross the border. If we try to cross, they will kick us out again to the Belarusian side. Please support us. We can't do anything about this terrible situation.”
