Leak of intelligence about Israel's preparations for retaliatory strike on Iran investigated in US
Explosions are again heard in the Middle East. The Israeli Air Force in the past 24 hours carried out 175 strikes on Gaza and Lebanon. This was reported by the army press service. The IDF specified: the strikes were carried out on weapons depots, underground bunkers, observation and sniper positions, as well as on terrorist fighters. As a result, Israel killed more than 65 Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon. At least 60 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, Al Jazeera reported.
Meanwhile, the Network leaked materials of the American intelligence in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the Middle East, in particular, about Israel's plans to retaliate against Iran. According to CNN, the documents say that the IDF is preparing long-range airborne missiles, conducting exercises to refuel aircraft in the air and covert operations using drones. It is also reported that Israel possesses nuclear weapons, but the U.S. has not seen the Jewish state's intentions to use them in an attack, the journalists clarify. The files have been labeled “top secret”. An investigation into the incident is underway.
