Belarusian Foreign Ministry: The conflict in Ukraine is used by the West for global confrontation

The conflict in Ukraine only looks local on the map. It is used by the West for stirring up the global confrontation. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Aleinik as he was addressing the conference "Collective security in a new era - the experience and prospects of the CSTO”. The Foreign Ministry also noted the readiness of Belarus to participate in discussions with the West on Russian security guarantees.
