Putin: Russia "is in no hurry" to conduct special operation
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow, carrying out a special military operation in Ukraine, is in no hurry, but is carrying out the main task, which remains unchanged. This is reported by TASS.
"We are not in a hurry in this part, but, by and large, in essence, there are no changes," the head of state said, answering a question to TASS at a press conference on September 16 following his visit to Uzbekistan.
Putin said that the offensive operation in Donbass will continue despite Ukrainian "attempts of a counterattack." "Despite these attempts of the Ukrainian army's counteroffensive, our offensive operations in Donbass itself do not stop, they are going on," he said.
"They are going on at a slow pace, but consistently, gradually, the Russian army occupies new and new territories," the Russian President stressed.
