Washington is responsible for the missile strike on civilians in Sevastopol, as all flight assignments in the US ATACMS missiles were entered by US specialists. This was stated in the Russian Defense Ministry, reports TASS.

"All the flight assignments in the US ATACMS operational-tactical missiles are entered by US specialists on the basis of the US own satellite intelligence data. Therefore, Washington is primarily responsible for the deliberate missile strike on civilians in Sevastopol," the ministry said in a statement.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the strike by US ATACMS missiles would not go unanswered.

According to operational data of the Russian Health Ministry, 124 people, including 27 children, were wounded and injured of varying degrees of severity as a result of shelling of Sevastopol by Ukraine.

According to Maria Lvova-Belova, the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights, five children are in serious condition and doctors are fighting for their lives.

Evacuation of the injured to medical institutions of Sevastopol continues, more than 20 ambulance crews are working on the site. Doctors from other regions of the Russian Federation have also been brought in to help the wounded.
