UK seeks further NATO expansion

The UK will seek further NATO enlargement. According to Defense Secretary Grant Shapps, in the present circumstances "there is no room for neutrality". Therefore, London seeks to include Ireland, Austria, Malta and Switzerland, which benefit from NATO's nuclear umbrella, into the ranks of the military bloc.
