War on monuments in Ukraine continues

The erasure of history continues in Ukraine: a Soviet tank was dismantled on Victory Square in Zhitomir. The footage was published by the city council. It was installed in its 65th year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the victory in World War II. Over the last month, at least a dozen memorials dedicated to the Great Patriotic War were removed in Ukraine. At the same time, according to polls, the majority of Ukrainians are against the demolition of Soviet monuments.
