Zelensky fires Ukraine's ambassador to Belarus - reason for dismissal unknown
Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on June 22 on the dismissal from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus Igor Kizim, RIA Novosti reports.
"Dismiss Igor Yurievich Kizim from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus," reads the text of the document published on Zelensky's website.
The reason for dismissal is currently unknown.
Kizim held the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Belarus since February 20, 2017.
