A.Kobyakov: Digital world to become part of any economic activity in country

A new decree on the development of the digital economy will make it possible to transfer the successful experience of the IT sector to other industries. The digital world will become a part of any economic activity in the country. This was announced today by the Prime Minister of Belarus at a forum dedicated to the introduction of digital technologies. In the next five-year period, several key tasks are to be solved. It is planned to create a full-fledged e-government, to introduce a smart house system, to launch electronic commerce and intellectual regulation of traffic. That is to create one of the most modern infrastructures of telecommunications in Eastern Europe.

To ensure the rapid introduction of innovations, the country will organize a continuous process of improving competences in the IT field among authorities.
