Belarus and China to increase cooperation in medicine

The Council of the Republic summarized the results of the official visit of the parliamentary delegation of Belarus headed by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalia Kochanova to the People's Republic of China. The four days of work were very intense. There were meetings with the leadership of the People's Republic of China, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the first meeting of the High-level Committee. As a result, the parties came to an understanding where there are reserves for further cooperation.

Sergei Sivets, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus:

“We have worked out quite a lot of projects, which are a kind of engines in the development of our bilateral relations, but at the same time we have not yet exhausted all our potential and resource for further deepening and development. And the legislative aspect is very important for us in this regard. Why? Because the Chinese side has emphasized the need to create such a legal environment that would allow all the authorized bodies of both the Chinese and Belarusian sides, economic entities to communicate, interact and cooperate with each other in the most comfortable mode. And there should be no legal obstacles to this.”
