Belarus expects to double volume of investments by 2025

The plans to bring the figure to 53 billion rubles were announced today by Minister of Economy Dmitry Krutoy.

The House of Representatives has held parliamentary hearings. Representatives of the government, deputies and senators, business and independent experts shared their views on how to attract financial flow to the country. Other ambitious goals are to enter the top 30 of the Doing Business rating and create the best conditions for business activity in the EAEU.

The expert community notes that in order to achieve the goals, it is necessary to complete the work on the adjustment of the legislative base, implement the roadmap for removing barriers and exemptions in the Eurasian Economic Union. Favorable conditions for investment have been created in our country, experts underline.

The House of Representatives is currently working on investment and privatization laws, they need to be updated. It is planned to abandon criminal prosecution for tax violations in Belarus. Amendments to the relevant law are being prepared.
