Flax is a strategic product for Belarus. It is used to make a wonderful demanded product. This means that the state is simply obliged to revive the former glory of the Belarusian northern silk. This was the goal in the modernization of enterprises.

Here is one of the successful examples - Dubrovensky flax plant. It is one of the largest industrial enterprises for primary processing of bast crops. But special attention is paid to flax cultivation.

The Dubrovenskiy flax plant has a unique technology for processing flax straw into cottonized flax. It is made of fiber by special multistage mechanical processing, which results in a fiber with properties close to cotton fiber. Therefore, it becomes possible to process this fiber with machines and technologies designed for cotton.

All cottonized flax is exported, mainly to Russia and China. There it is very much in demand because of its unique properties. It is very soft and unfibered. Moreover, the cost of such flax is much higher than ordinary flax - 3 thousand dollars per 1 ton.

The cottonized flax is made of short flax fiber, the demand for which is low. Having invested in the purchase of a new line, the company is now receiving good dividends.
