Eurasian Development Bank notes steady growth of Belarusian economy
Eurasian Development Bank notes a steady growth of the Belarusian economy - by 3.8% in January-October (after 3.5% in January-September). This is stated in a brief macro review of the bank. The industry is still one of the main drivers of growth (8% growth over 10 months of the year). The GDP growth is supported by the continuing expansion of domestic demand, retail turnover increased by 15%, the review says. The bank's experts noted: the Belarusian economy is demonstrating high rates of recovery after the recession last year, which indicates adaptation to external constraints and stimulation by domestic economic policy.
