Head of Chuvashia: Belarusian partners are a priority for us

Belarusian partners in all processes are a priority for us, and we will discuss all our joint developments to bring them to life. This was emphasized by the head of the Chuvash Republic of Russia Oleg Nikolaev on the eve of his visit to Belarus.

The head of the region also spoke in detail about what Chuvashia is famous for.

"The Chuvash Republic has a very developed industry. Here we should highlight the electrical field, which today provides energy not only to the Russian Federation, but all the countries of the former Soviet Union," explained Oleg Nikolaev. - This is also our tractors, quarry tractors, which have been produced since the 20th century in the city of Cheboksary. They have earned recognition and are regaining the market not only in the Russian Federation, but also in Africa.

If we take the agro-industrial complex, undoubtedly, it is hop, which has been produced in the Chuvash Republic traditionally. And during the Soviet Union, 80 percent of hops were produced exactly in Chuvashia.

"We are doing a lot today to restore the production and processing of hops, but already on completely different approaches, ensuring full technological sovereignty", - emphasized the head of the region.

"Most importantly, there are people who are constantly in search, who have a very good base of higher and secondary vocational education," summarized Oleg Nikolaev.
