Quality control of Belarusian goods and services should be put on higher level, Lukashenko demands

The quality control of Belarusian goods and services will be put on a higher level. A statement to this effect was made by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting on the work to improve quality in 2024 and the Quality Mark of the Republic of Belarus, BelTA informs.

Before the meeting in the Palace of Independence, the head of state familiarized himself with the special exhibition "Quality Mark: Tradition of the Past and the Present". Heads of Belarusian enterprises and veterans of production presented domestic products, which in the Soviet years were awarded the USSR Quality Mark, as well as the goods, which claim to be the State Quality Mark of Belarus in 2024. The range of exhibited products is very wide - from the food industry to mechanical engineering.

"Our first working meeting this year at the level of the President concerns the main theme - the Year of Quality. We have set a very ambitious goal: to raise the quality control of goods and services produced, the quality of life in the country to a higher level," Alexander Lukashenko said. - Belarus can be proud of its quality goods, but to be in the trend, to compete with the world's best, we need to add a little, we need to earn this quality mark.

The President emphasized that Belarusians have a lot to draw from in this endeavor. First of all, from traditions - the republic has preserved the continuity of the Soviet Union.
