Lukashenko: Measures to counteract withdrawal of capital from Belarus should be adopted lightning fast

One of the topics of the meeting was counteraction to capital withdrawal. Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus, burdened with barriers and bans, lives and works in difficult economic conditions.

"Sanctions are a traditional and repeated practice of pressure of the so-called world leaders on the unwanted countries. Unfortunately, it is, if I may say so, a fashionable economic trend. This is how the United States and the European Union have been dealing with competitors for a long time, - emphasized the head of state. - We offer foreigners some of the best conditions: preferences, benefits, infrastructure, and, of course, competencies. Come and work. But not for profit at the expense of our people. And if someone tries to, there are mechanisms to counteract and reprimand them.

Nevertheless, representatives of the state control report about the facts of funds outflow to unfriendly countries and even about the purposeful withdrawal of profits outside Belarus.
