Lukashenko agrees on appointment of new head of Petrikov district right in the field

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has agreed on the appointment of a new chairman of the district executive committee during his working trip to Petrikov district, Alexander Veremeev, director of SUP Polessie-Agroinvest.

“Let's talk about the main thing. Do you want him to work as chairman of the district executive committee?” - Alexander Lukashenko addressed a question to Chairman of Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko.

The head of the region answered in the affirmative.

“Will he be able to do it?” - clarified the head of state.

The answer was affirmative.

Alexander Lukashenko asked Alexander Veremeev how much he is interested in the unification of local farms and how he views these issues.

Having discussed these technical aspects, the President warned that the whole district should have the same farming culture as Polessye-Agroinvest.

“Okay, let's consider that from Monday you are the chairman of the district executive committee. But keep in mind that this is a good farm. God forbid you ruin it. So see who will work here,” said the head of state.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that the whole district should be done like this farm. “I know his biography. It has been reported to me. It's not spontaneous. He is a local, grew up here. A real farmer, whom I love and respect very much. And it is necessary to find such guys like him.”
