Agreements in microelectronics and mutual recognition of technological operations concluded between Belarus and Russia
The documents, which will improve the relationship between Belarusian and Russian manufacturers, were signed in the Russian capital by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Petr Parkhomchik. The details of these documents were disclosed by Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus Dmitry Kharitonchik.
He said that on September 28, the intergovernmental agreements between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation were signed, affecting the interests of the line ministries on cooperation in two spheres.
"The first agreement is in microelectronics. It gives us the right and the basis for the formation, division of certain competencies, areas in which we will cooperate in this area," said deputy minister to reporters.
According to him, it will allow the Belarusian Integral company to more thoroughly form not only production but also investment program in terms of possible development of new products and vision for further development in the coming years.
The second intergovernmental agreement concerns mutual recognition of technological operations.
"This intergovernmental agreement was planned to be signed as a part of the action plan and the road map for the formation of a common industrial policy between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus," Dmitry Kharitonchik said. - This is a development of one of the 28 Union programs to create a common economic space of the Union State."
According to the Deputy Minister of Industry, the signing of the document on mutual recognition of technological operations provides a legal basis for the parties to make changes to the national legislation and harmonizing the legal field, which will allow Belarusian producers to participate in various types of procurements, including those subsidized by the budgets of both countries.
At the same time, he drew attention to the absence of barriers and the full understanding of the parties.
To date, if we are talking about government procurement within the EEU, we have these processes are fully regulated. But when it comes to procurements at our own expense, we pursue our own policy and apply various measures to support our own manufacturer.

The Russian Federation is also implementing a corresponding program to support its own production, and an intergovernmental agreement was necessary in order to level the playing field for Belarusian producers.
In the future, according to him, this will lead to a single order of assessment of the manufactured technological operations, the definition of verification bodies, mechanisms, and, accordingly, changes in the legislation of the two countries, which will allow our companies to participate in the programs of the Russian Federation, subsidizing either the producer or the buyer.
