Minsk and the Turkish city of Gaziantep to actively develop cooperation

The trade turnover between the cities has increased by more than a quarter since the beginning of the year. To find new points of interaction, a delegation from the Turkish city arrived on a visit in the capital. One of the first stops was Minsk Tractor Plant. The southern region of Turkey is agrarian, so local enterprises are interested in high-quality agricultural equipment. Gaziantep management representatives got acquainted with the production process and MTZ products.

In addition, the Turkish side is interested in the experience of Minsk in the development of urban water supply and transport infrastructure. Another important aspect is the development of trade. Belarus and Turkey intend to present their products at joint exhibitions.

Late September, during the gastronomic festival, Minsk and Gaziantep signed an agreement on twin-town relations. By the way, they plan to bring a gastronomic festival to the Belarusian capital.
