Mir and BelCard may be synchronized by 2025

The payment systems Mir and BelCard can be synchronized by the beginning of 2025. For this purpose, it is necessary to build appropriate hosts between Russian and Belarusian processing centers, which will allow payments by Belarusian cards on Russian services. In the long term, it is planned to make payments for Russian services by Belarusian cards available via ERIP. Last year, the National Bank noted the growing popularity of the BelCard system.
