Development of National Business Platform of Belarus 2022 begins

The development of the draft of the National Business Platform of Belarus - 2022 has started. This is a document that will outline proposals on how to improve the country's business climate. External pressure has affected not only the work of large businesses, but also small and medium-sized businesses. Today, there are about 372,000 business entities in the country. Sustainable functioning of economy in the current conditions requires well-coordinated work of government and business.

Andrei Kopytok, Chairman of the Supreme Coordinating Council of the Union of Legal Entities "Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship":

“The effective dialogue between the government and business will enable the Belarusian business to realize its potential and multiply it for the benefit of the country. The implementation of our initiatives into the state policy and institutional development will give Belarus an opportunity to strengthen the national idea of developing competitiveness and export orientation of our country and improve the living standards of people.”

The idea of such a document appeared in 2005. Every year, from 30 to 100 the relevant issues were accumulated for the Government. The new document will be calculated for the mid-term perspective, for 2022-2023. Both business and government bodies are invited to participate in its development.
