National Pavilion of Belarus at import exhibition in Shanghai

The National Pavilion was inaugurated at the exhibition in Shanghai. The sixth forum united more than 150 countries and international organizations. Our country is represented by more than 70 companies. There is interest on the part of Chinese partners, stated the Minister of Economy. Alexander Chervyakov pointed out that Beijing is still one of the most important strategic partners for Minsk.

Alexander Chervyakov, Minister of Economy of Belarus:

“Last year our trade turnover almost reached $6 billion. Exports increased by almost 80% last year. For 9 months of this year we have already reached the level of last year, so we see how active our companies are in the Chinese market. There is interest in our products, and we have something to show.”

The guests of the Belarusian exposition will enjoy a rich cultural program, performance of dancers and tasting of national cuisine. And today the presentation of Brest Region took place at our pavilion and a package of agreements was signed.
