New approach in flax growing required

A new radical approach in flax industry is needed. The subject is under special control of the President. The main emphasis is on the preparation of high-quality seeds, as the future harvest and new prospects depend on it. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has set the task of 9 centers with a full cycle of flax seed preparation. Thus, they decided not to spend money on the construction of new infrastructure, but to adapt the lines for the refinement of seeds. However, new production has yet to be established. High resistance to diseases is one of the advantages of Belarusian flax varieties.
