New pellet plant to appear in Belarus

A new pellet plant has been built in Gantsevichi District. The production is being prepared for launch. The plant will produce fuel pellets from sawdust, wood chips and other woodworking waste. The yearly output will reach 20 thousand tons of pellets to be exported to the EU countries. The facility has been built next to the existing sawmill site.

The launch of the plant will be part of the state timber industry development program in Brest Region. The first pellet plant started operating last year in Pruzhany District.
