Mandatory sale of foreign currency earnings rule scrapped in Belarus to help enterprises
According to a decree signed by the President, the mandatory sale of foreign exchange earnings rule has been scrapped in Belarus to help enterprises. The Ministry of Economy says enterprises can decide for themselves what to do with the money.
Businesses see this step as an incentive for the development of companies, especially new ones. This will increase the competitiveness of Belarusian exporters.
This simplification was under way for several years with the norms for mandatory sale of foreign currency earnings being consistently reduced. As a result, now it has been canceled completely.
