Technologies and Legislation: development of Union State farming programs to be considered in Minsk

A meeting of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia on Agrarian Issues will be held on October 18 in Minsk, reports BELTA.

The event is attended by representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.

The participants of the meeting will consider the preparation of the Union State programs “Development of intellectual technologies and robotic technical means for industrial horticulture” (“Horticulture-US”) and “Development of digital technologies and a set of automated machines and equipment for dairy farming” (“Intelligent Farm-US”). The parliamentarians will also discuss the creation of a breeding and genetic center to work with egg-breed hens.
